ADFIL was formed in March of 1997 following the successful merger
between Fibrin (Humberside) Ltd of Beverley, UK and Cemfiber a/s
of Varde, Denmark.As a result of this ADFIL now has specialised
high tech production plants producing polypropylene fibres for use
in cementitious products within the construction Industry.
ADFIL is a subsidiary of Low and Bonar PLC.

Passive Fire Protection -
IGNIS has been integral to the passive fire systems on immersed tube, cut and cover and bored tunnelling projects. ADFIL has also been awarded a grant from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the Eureka initiative to develop IGNIS for use in both underground and above ground vertical structures.

Approval and certification
ADFIL's products are patent protected in most industrialised countries.
All of ADFIL's products are either BBA approved, which certifies
the performance of the fibre within concrete, or have full independent
test data to support all technical claims. |
