My name is Andrew Kitchen and I am the General Manager of ADFIL Construction Fibres. I have been at ADFIL now for over 11 years and I am based at the UK head office.

Recently, there have been many successful changes at ADFIL. We have developed and launched new products. We have invested money into hi-tec production equipment. We have new key personnel within our team. We have new ideas to help construct projects more safely, more economically and with less effort. But, I feel as a Company we could be better at informing you of these positive strides we have taken.

Durus S300 are monofilament macro synthetic fibres that are extruded, embossed and then specifically cut into the required lengths for a wide range of concreting applications. They can be used in ready mixed concrete, precast and sprayed concrete applications both above and in underground situations.

Advantages & Benefits
The product will enhance the toughness of the concrete and alleviate the need for steel mesh when used with the appropriate design and at the recommended dosage. Benefits are:

With business growing fast, Adfil have recently recruited two new members of the team, Martin Willis and Thomas Hinch joining the team in August.

Martin Willis is the Product Development Manager for Europe, Latin America & Africa. Fluent in German, French, Spanish and English (his Mother tongue). Martin also has vast experience in Product Development and will bring his wealth of experience to Adfil.

Thomas Hinch has a proven track record in technical sales and has been appointed as internal sales development co-ordinator. He will provide support for the sales team as well as developing sales in niche markets. Previously Thomas worked for consulting engineers Eastwood and Partners and then at Mott MacDonald.


Adfil are a total fibre solution provider and our range includes monofilament, fibrillated, and macro fibres. We also have decades of experience within this industry with our knowledgeable staff. We can probably answer every fibre question you can throw at us!
